Freckles

The tiny flecks of crimson that lay on his skin are charming and part of the reason why I find him so attractive. They don't just dot the top of his cheeks or just the bridge of his nose; they pepper his shoulders, his arms, his sides. Seeing them resting on his peaceful face as he sleeps up close is the best though. Call me a stalker if you want, but it's true. I can't help myself from leaning a bit closer, closing the gap between us, and kissing a tiny cluster in the center of his right cheek. His eyelashes the same color as his firey hair ease up and reveal a sleepy look in his bright, emerald eyes.

"Hmmm? What's up?" he asks me, instinctively pulling me closer against his warm body.

"Nothin," I reply, lips curling into a mischevious smile. "Just admiring your freckles."
