I Didn't Know

KF and Robin sat on the couch in the living together, M'gann and Superboy passed out beside them in a cuddle and Kald'r snoring quietly in his arm chair with Artemis sleeping on the arm rest. On the TV played the beautiful Disney Movie Lady in the Tramp 2, Scamp's Adventure.  They were currently at the scene where Scamp and Angel walked together in the park late at night, much like a date. Both KF and Robin hadn't actually wanted to see the movie that much at first , but M'gann had insisted they do, that innocent, excited gleam in her eyes. They couldn't turn her down so with deep, heavy sighs they had nodded yes. After a few minutes into the movie though, the two had found they actually enjoyed it, Wally thinking Scamp was just plain awesome and Robin loving the catchy tunes. And as luck would have it another song started right up.

"I've never felt this feeling before. She gives me shakes and shivers I can't ignore and I see that there's more now than just… running free."

Wally started to think about how he always got excited around Robin now, how much he enjoyed spending time with the younger boy. And he thought about how he spent less and less of his free time running around the country at top speeds and more and more with his beloved little bird.

"I've never felt my heart beat so fast. I'm thinking of him first and of myself last. And how happy I want him to be."

Robin took a glance over at his best friend and his heart skipped a beat. He thought about how he paid extra attention to him during dangerous missions, always making sure he was careful and out of danger and how he had recently started bringing boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts back every time he stepped outside for a special, hungry speedster.

"It's amazing, someone in my life, just might be loving me...I didn't know that I could feel this way."

"It's so crazy, something in my life is better than a dream. I didn't know that I could feel this way."

The short instrumental break began and the two young heroes found themselves shifting closer together, eyes still focused on the TV,  simply drawn to each other.

"She makes warm and happy inside."

Wally felt a warmth spread through him as he turned to look to down at his couch companion.

"He smiles and I get dizzy and starry-eyed."

Robin turned to see him smiling at him in that boyish way of his and he knew that his face now held a light pink hue.

"All these feelings I have have me asking-"

Can this be love? Can this be love?

"It's crazy, I can hardly speak whenever he says hi."

They moved even closer, bodies now touching, eyes now staring at each other softly.

" I didn't know that I could feel…"

Wally lifted his hands to removed Robin's dark glasses, the protector of his secret identity, revealing his amazingly gorgeous sky-blue eyes and brushed a few strands of his jet black hair away out of his face.

"I never dreamed that I could feel-I didn't know that I could feel this…"

Wally held Dick's face in his hands and brought his head down closer and closer until their lips met in a sweet, loving kiss. Robin closed his eyes and wrapped his small arms around his stronger neck, moving his lips in time with the other's, feeling so good and lighter than the air.

"…waaaaaay."

The two lovers broke apart and adjusted themselves so that Wally's arm was around Dick's slender waist and Dick's head was laying on his shoulder, mimicking the positions of the two obviously in-love puppies on the screen. They stayed that way throughout the rest of the movie, falling asleep in each other's arms after the last scene finally ended.
